Show Posters

One of my primary responsibilities at the head graphic designer for an arts collective is designing posters for theatrical shows. The below designs are for various theatrical productions I have either worked on in the past or am currently working on.

The DECAGON Project

The DECAGON Project was the inaugural production of the 46 Minutes Collective. A piece of interactive dance theater, I was responsible for designing stripped down graphics for an advertising campaign for its debut performance as part of the IndyFringe Festival in Indianapolis, IN in 2023 and for its NYC debut at Brick Aux in 2024. The below designs were all used for public advertising purposes, both physical and digital.

True Crime Frankenstein

True Crime Frankenstein: A Modern Reflection was my Media Studies senior thesis at Vassar College. An audio drama adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, I was responsible for designing various graphics to advertise the project throughout its production. While one or two elements, such as the podcast's logo, were outsourced to fellow classmates, all of the below designs are my work.

46 Minutes Collective

As the head graphic and web designer of the 46 Minutes Collective I regularly assist the marketing team with graphics for the 46 Minutes Instagram account and mailing list. Above is the 46 Minutes Collective logo, designed by me in 2022. Below are collections of the various advertising formats I have developed during my time with the collective.

Mixed Bag

Mixed Bag is a variety show for first drafts of which I am the co-producer. Below is the Mixed Bag logo along with the graphics advertising the program, all designed by me.

Green is the unofficial color of Mixed Bag in my eyes. My "intellectual" explanation for this is that you get green by mixing yellow and blue, two colors very different from green when compared to other primary and secondary colors, and that difference is part of the beauty of green and why it's a good match for a variety show focused on multi-media and multi-medium projects. Really though, the green is a gut instinct.

Rough Cuts

Rough Cuts is an evening of new play readings put on by the 46 Minutes Writers Group at the end of each of their cohorts. Below is the Rough Cuts logo along with the graphics advertising the program, all designed by me. With just the name to go off I was inspired by cut outs from activity books to create a format that could be easily replicated for each cohort while still making each post unique not only due to the text or photos provided by the writers but also by being able to "paste" the cut outs differently each time.

Writers Group

The 46 Minutes Writers Group is a bi-annual cohort that meets weekly to develop original plays. Below is the Writers Group logo along with the graphics advertising the program, all designed by me.

Announcement Banner

The basic side-banner format used whenever the collective had something to announce on social media related to the collective as a whole rather than any one specific project or production. This format was retired when Instagram changed their posts' dimensions.

Events

The Events format used whenever the collective announces or promotes ongoing programming.
